Multiplication Facts
Please check in with your child to see what level they are working on to earn a pizza slice. For
each multiplication level they pass, students will add another piece to make a whole pizza. Please
have your child continue working on their facts at home. Learning their multiplication facts will be key
to their success in math.

Science Olympiad
It's Science Olympiad time! The Lincoln Science Olympiad Club is a great way to learn more about
science and meet some new friends. Applications for Science Olympiad are now available and will
be accepted through Friday, January 31st. The club is open to students in grades 3-5 and is limited
to a total of 30 students. Two boys and two girls will be chosen from each classroom. If there are more
than 4 applications from my classroom, there will be a random drawing of the turned in applications.
The Science Olympiad members will meet during 3 lunch periods during the month of February.
They will be practicing all sorts of fun science activities in preparation for Science Olympiad Day to
be held at Lake Michigan College on March 4th.
